On to the rear passenger lights. Remove the two torx screws under the handle and remove the wiring plug. It's painfully tight but really, it is possible. After you get the unit out, you can insert a 5/16 flat head screw driver as shown above and twist (in this image, counterclockwise) to lift the locking clip away from the side, then push it out from that side. Feels like it's going to break, but it didn't for me and I can't say whether you will break yours or not. :)
